Work Base: Warrington, Rotherham and Hull
Contract: Full time, permanent
Hours: 40+ hours per week
Salary: £26,000-£30,000 pa depending on experience + company vehicle
Valid Until: End of September 2013
- Full driving licence (preferably clean)
- Basic IT Skills (preferably ECDL or equivalent)
Purpose: To oversee the smooth running of one or more depots operating within a business region. The Depot Manager will be responsible for daily operations, procedures, staff, vehicles and equipment. Depot Manager will work closely under the Regional Manager to achieve regional business objectives.
Reporting To: General Manager via Regional Manager
To deliver and manage all T&C Site Services operational processes within their geographical area in order to maintain and develop a profitable business. Assist the Business Development Manager in generating and developing new commercial contracts. The Depot Manager will be responsible for realising the administrative processes and procedures, including compliance with health, safety, environment and quality programmes.
The Depot Manager will be required to manage, lead and motivate a team of fitters to ensure customers’ needs and business objectives are achieved. Depot equipment, resources and facilities will need to be managed and deployed to ensure efficient service provision.
A successful candidate will possess good organisational skills and be able to demonstrate effective leadership and staff management. A good level of verbal and written communication will be useful. A successful depot manager will need to work autonomously within the job role, completing objectives provided by the Regional Manager.
