Large company capabilities - small company values

Inverness Satellite Depot

Last year the north of Scotland was an untapped market as far as T&C Site Services Ltd were concerned.  The logistics of travelling from the central belt with a HGV made it financially restrictive and not cost effective for our customers.  Therefore, customers in the area had been using small commercial firms who are ill equipped for earthmover work.  T&C were confident that we could satisfy this gap in service.

So, at the beginning of February T&C Site Services Ltd officially opened a satellite depot at Inverness, Scotland.  The depot has initially opened for a six month trial period but is expected it to become permanent base of operation.  The depot currently has two vehicles at its disposal; a 32 tonne Renault with a Copma crane & tyre grab and also a 3.5 tonne Iveco flatbed.  This allows T&C to provide full coverage for any prospective customers’ tyre and service requirements.

Gary Stoker, from our Coatbridge depot has been enjoying the last month working at Inverness.  Gary has 20 years’ experience fitting tyres the last six of which he has been with T&C.  Gary and Stevie Taylor, our Scotland Sales Manager, are enjoying the challenge of developing business in Inverness and the northern highlands area.
