Team T&C are running again, raising money for Cancer Research. This is great cause, very close to my heart. Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. Their ground breaking work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer has saved millions of lives. Survival rates have doubled in the last thirty years and they have been at the heart of that progress. However, one in three people will still get cancer at some point and their vital work, funded entirely by the public, will help ensure that millions more people will survive.
So far Team T&C has raised over £3000 for different charities. This has been achieved by walking and running at various events. In the last year we have completed 2 half marathons, 2 charity walks and a sponsored weight loss. It’s now time to take on the big one, a full Marathon, 26.2 miles. Unfortunately, I cannot get others to run with me on this one, but I know they will be with me in spirit. Please give me your support as I will defiantly need it this time.
