T & C are taking part in a number of events around the country this year, raising funds for the British Heart Foundation. The British Heart Foundation is the nation’s heart charity. Every day they save lives, through pioneering research, providing vital information to help people reduce their own heart health risks, campaigning for change and supporting and caring for heart patients.

Mike Leedham and Jason Shorrock completed the Liverpool Half Marathon in March and more recently the Mow Cop Killer Mile on April 26th – along with Ant Quinn, Ant Ridgeway, Mike Adams, Mike Wood and Kimberly Adams – all agreed it was the most challenging mile they had ever run.
Next month we are running (and/or walking) the Potters ‘Arf Marathon in Stoke-on-Trent. This time we have 6 ladies joining in; Melanie Soper, Kimberly Adams, Katie Adams and I along with our star athletes’ wives, Anne Leedham and Michelle Shorrock. We are hoping for a couple of personal bests from Mike and Jason. This will be just a warm up for them, because in October our star runners will be attempting a triple event – Chester Marathon 7th, Liverpool Marathon 14th with an ‘easy’ Half Marathon in Birmingham 21st October.
