Job Vacancy: Yard Assistant (Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

We are currently seeking a Yard Assistant to join our team and help maintain an organised and efficient yard environment. As a Yard Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure our yard runs smoothly and safely. Your daily duties will include, but are not limited to:
General Yard Maintenance: Keeping the yard clean and organised by managing stock, equipment, and materials.
Loading & Unloading: Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries to ensure items are safely moved and stored.
Inventory Control: Keep track of stock levels and ensure all equipment and materials are properly stored and accessible.
Health & Safety: Adhering to all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Equipment Handling: Operating forklifts to move materials when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
Reliability: You’ll be expected to be on time and work efficiently throughout the day.
Physical Stamina: This role requires regular physical labour, including lifting and moving materials.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring the yard is organised and that all safety procedures are followed.
Team Player: You’ll work closely with other team members, so being a good communicator and working well with others is key.
Previous Experience: Experience in a similar role is beneficial, but not essential.
