VULCANISED TYRE REPAIRER

Are you ready to join us?

We're currently recruiting a Vulcanised Tyre Repairer.

You will work on some of the world's biggest tyres at our Head Office in Stoke-on-Trent.  As a Vulcanised Tyre Repairer, you will be responsible for the inspection and application of the repair from start to finish. You will work in a safe, clean and friendly environment. You will be working with electrical and pneumatic machinery and we will train you to the highest standards.

Main Activities
  • Inspect and repair tyres

  • Process polyurethane tyre filling

  • Report to management

  • Maintain a safe working environment

  • Follow company health and safety requirements

  • Operate computerised and pneumatic machinery

  • Ensure that the workplace is fit for purpose

Job Details

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Number of Vacancies: 1

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday) + Overtime

Salary: from £24,310 a year (Dependent on experience/qualifications.)

Reporting To: Yard Manager

Experience & Requirements

Licence/Certification Required: 

  • Full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean)

Technical Requirements:

  • Able to fulfil manual labour activities

  • Capable of operating electrical and pneumatic machinery (training will be given)

  • Follow company guidelines in process and health and safety requirements

  • Willing to take training courses to attain accreditation

  • Able to complete tasks within a timeframe

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Motivated, focused and able to work to deadlines

  • Experience working alone and within a team

  • Good communicator

  • Reliable
