T&C Site Services were delighted to join Breedon’s Raisby Quarry for their September Open Day. A fantastic event that brought together employees, families and the local community to celebrate the site and raise money for a worthy cause.
The day was well attended with plenty for everyone to enjoy. Families enjoyed a sponsored walk around the quarry and the chance to meet Raisby’s historic herd of 48 goats, which have called the site home for many years. Together, the event raised an impressive £700 for a local cancer charity - a brilliant achievement that highlights the generosity of everyone involved.
For us, the Open Day was also an opportunity to reflect on the strong working relationship with the team at Raisby. Since we took over tyre support at the site four years ago, the collaboration between our team and the quarry has gone from strength to strength. The Assistant Quarry Manager highlighted the positive improvements in site safety, noting the role of our technical support and the responsive service from our Middlesbrough Depot as part of the quarry team’s ongoing commitment to safe operations.
A special mention goes to Stevie Fitzpatrick, whose skills, attention to detail and professional attitude were highlighted by the Raisby team - further underlining the value T&C Site Services brings day in and day out.
Events like this also give us the chance to meet colleagues from across the wider Breedon business, from Finance and Commercial to Aggregate Sales, and to share ideas around our shared goal: helping Breedon deliver their goals on safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
We’re proud to have been part of this memorable day at Raisby Quarry and look forward to continuing our close partnership with the team in the years ahead.
